TEAM MITCH MAKING A DIFFERENCE

EAST HOLLYWOOD - The Council District 13 Clean Team helped remove an enormous trash pile from the public right of way on Oxford Ave between Virginia Ave and Santa Monica Blvd. Our neighborhoods deserve better which is why the clean team mitigated this dangerous situation, helping clear the pathway for pedestrians transforming the site. If you see an area that needs attention, please call our Echo Park District Office at (213) 207-3015.

COMPLETION UPDATE: STREET REPAVING

HOLLYWOOD - StreetsLA recently finished working on the resurfacing project on Van Ness Ave, between Santa Monica Blvd and Melrose Ave, one of many projects to ensure roadways are maintained along our busiest corridors. This project was made possible through StreetsLA's new ADAPT program, an initiative which seeks to take advantage of the reduced traffic resulting from the Safer at Home order. The program targets repair work on high-priority, high-traffic streets.

TAKE PART IN THE 2020 CENSUS

LOS ANGELES - Participating in the 2020 Census is critically important. This population count, conducted once every 10 years, helps generate federal funding for programs like Medi-Cal, Title 1 funding, SNAP (food stamps), and the repair and construction of highways, bridges, roads, and more.
