FOUR HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES IN CD13
1. Sunday, November 26 – Hollywood Christmas Parade
The 91st Hollywood Christmas Parade kicks off tomorrow – Sunday, November 26 at 6pm!

2. Saturday, December 9 – Echo Park Community Parade
After a pandemic hiatus, the Echo Park Community Parade is making its triumphant return to Sunset Blvd on Saturday, December 9 from 11am-1pm.
We hope you can swing by and get in the holiday spirit for this special occasion!
3. Sunday, December 10 – Atwater Village Tree Lighting Festival
Our team is thrilled to join a time-honored tradition in Atwater Village this year – the 32nd Annual Tree Lighting Festival!
On Sunday, December 10 from 5pm-7pm, join the Atwater community for this amazing festival featuring performances, prizes, and even a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
4. Saturday, December 16 – HiFi Holiday Festival
Last but certainly not least, we’re so excited for this years’ Holiday Festival in Historic Filipinotown. Last year’s festival had a star-studded lineup, live music, amazing food, and so much more, so we’re looking forward to joining the festival next month.

Two More Quick Hits!
1. Help Us Fight Needless Evictions!
Renters in our district have received over 7,500 eviction notices just since February, so we are hiring a Tenant Case Manager to connect with those tenants so they can access critical resources that can help them stay in their homes.

2. Spreading Thanksgiving Joy in CD13
This week we were in the community all over the district spreading some Thanksgiving joy and making sure that everyone in CD13 can enjoy this holiday.
We partnered with El Centro del Pueblo, the Bresee Foundation, Manos Que Sobreviven, Hollywood Food Coalition, PATH, and other community organizations to distribute food, fresh produce, and about 1,500 turkeys for families in need.
