Jeanne Min is the Chief of Staff to Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell. Her duties include advising the Councilmember on all budget and citywide policy matters, managing the City Hall and District office staff, monitoring public infrastructure and capital improvement projects in the district, and administering discretionary funds to community organizations.
Prior to her joining the 13th District, Jeanne was the Deputy Chief of Staff to Councilmember Tom LaBonge of the 4th District where she served for almost twelve years as a senior advisor on all budgetary, policy, field and administrative issues.
Before her time in municipal government, Jeanne handled external/government affairs for the Korean American Coalition in Los Angeles, a non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization in Koreatown. There she was involved with state and local redistricting efforts, the formation of the Wilshire Center-Koreatown Neighborhood Council, the creation of the Koreatown Legal Clinic in partnership with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, and other legislative issues. She served as board member on the KAC-LA Board for two years and currently serves as an advisory board member.
Jeanne received her B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California at Berkeley, and completed the NetKAL fellowship program through the Center for Asian-Pacific Leadership at the University of Southern California.
