Dan Halden serves as Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell’s field deputy for Hollywood, and is honored to serve one of the City’s most dynamic and creative communities. Before arriving in the 13th District, Dan worked as a field deputy in the 4th District, serving neighborhoods in the Griffith Park area at the office of Councilmember Tom LaBonge.
Prior to his work for the City of Los Angeles, Dan was a field organizer at the Southern California headquarters of then-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s successful 2010 campaign for Lieutenant Governor.
In addition to public service, Dan has also worked in the entertainment industry. He was an assistant to acclaimed writer Kevin Williamson for two years, and also acted in the award-winning independent film Nothing in Los Angeles, set right here in the City of Angels.
