Alejandra Marroquin
Field Deputy (Echo Park, Glassell Park, Elysian Valley)

Having grown up in Echo Park, Alejandra Marroquin knows very well where the echo in Echo Park comes from. Alejandra graduated from UCLA with a double major in International Development Studies and Comparative Literature in 2002. Her studies led her to a strong analysis of the root causes of the conditions faced by our communities.

As a long-time resident of Council District 13, Alejandra is committed to improving the quality of life for all residents. Combining her background in community organizing and student activism with the resources available through the City and through the Council District , Alejandra hopes to help connect Council District 13 residents to the power they need to improve their quality of life.
