Organizing Team Projects

Some liquor stores and a recycling center in Silver Lake have been sore spots for crime and blight, and Councilmember Garcetti's organizing team has been working with Senior Lead Officers Dawn Lewis, Al Polehonki and Sam Salazar and the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council to address the problem. Working together, we've drafted petitions to get the Zoning Administrator to impose conditions on the stores and hold them to those conditions.
